Emerald Anniversary Ways & Means Gala

Each guest will receive a program (to preview the auction items) with an auction bidder number on the back. Starting bids (if provided) must be honored.  Be sure to check the auction results to determine if you have the winning bid!  Live Auction: The Live Auction will begin at approximately 8:45 pm. Auctioneer Barrett Bray will present the items and there will be spotters stationed throughout the room. To place a bid, raise your bidder number high toward the auctioneer or a spotter. Your bid is accepted when the auctioneer formally acknowledges your bid. The bidder recognized as the highest bidder will be the winner of the item. The auctioneer’s decision is considered final.  Payment and Receipt of Items: Payments for all items must be made, in full, before you depart for the evening. Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express will be accepted. Please present your bidder number at the checkout to determine what items are yours to claim. All items must be taken with you the night of the auction unless otherwise specified. Detailed information for the buyer will accompany every auction item purchased.  Terms and Conditions of Sale: All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges unless otherwise stated. It is the responsibility of the buyer to adhere to the expiration dates and exclusions specified on the certificates or information provided to the buyer. Buyers are responsible for contacting donors or following donor instructions as stated. Everything will be sold “as is”, “where is”, with no guarantees of any kind, regardless of statement of condition made from the auction block. Buyers shall rely entirely on their own inspection and information. The bidder is responsible for knowing which item he is bidding on. If he is unsure, he should inquire or not bid. When you become the winning bidder at the auction you have affected a contract and will be expected to pay for items in which you were evidenced to be the successful bidder. The auctioneer will not honor “mistakes.”
