The Oklahoma Geological Foundation is excited to present the second annual “Rocks and Swing Fore STEM” event September 10, 2020 at TopGolf of Oklahoma City from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The Foundation is a proud supporter of STEM education throughout Oklahoma with a primary focus on Earth Science programs. This is being accomplished by providing museum quality Rock, Mineral and Fossil collections and the development of a new interactive computer-based instruction system called “Every Day Earth”, both of which will assist teachers and students in Earth Science education in Oklahoma schools. All of the proceeds from the “Rocks and Swing Fore STEM” event will be used to help support the Foundation’s efforts to assemble and supply materials for teachers of K – 12 students in Oklahoma. Other than being a fun and enjoyable evening of food, drinks, and golf, the affair will include silent and live auction venues consisting of high-quality minerals and fossils, destination packages, old geological maps, jewelry, and many other items of interest.
